break that habit.

the habit being comparing what i do to other people. the simming community has such sensational stories with beautiful writing, storylines and editing that sometimes, newbies like myself, becomes intimidated. im already indecisive about what i and insecure about my writing and what i think is a good story that seeing other people flourish can be a little…startling.

there’s probably many other simmers or writers in general who feels the same way. but just like myself, we all need to remember that even the popular storytellers had to start somewhere. they started with 2 notes, 20 followers and a want to get their story out there.

just…don’t give up on it and don’t compare your talent and passion to someone’s else’s abilities.
