PSA: This isn’t aimed at anyone in particular, just in general
It’s cool to share your opinion on a creators story but you really don’t gotta be a dick about it. A lot, if not all, story creators put a lot of work into their stories. I know people who won’t post until they’re 101% satisfied with their content and for someone to go into their messages, mostly anonymously, say mean things about the quality, consistency, or simply pick apart their hobby is just super mean and degrading. You can be both critical and considerate of the creators feelings. Not everyone will have skin made out of steel and be an emotionless void of nothingness! People can get hurt when they get harassed about something they try really hard on, no matter how tough they seem to be. It really isn’t hard to be constructive about the critisism and some people may even welcome them but some don’t! So just think before you decide to send someone criticism and accept that story creators will do what they want with their story and they don’t owe their readers anything because at the end of the day, this is a hobby for all of us and if you get so heated over a decision with someone’s story that you feel the need to be nasty in someone’s inbox you really need new hobbies.
