Milly and Bruce have recently become close friends. Milly short for Milagros (No one can say it properly). She moved in to town right before summer break. She was the talk of the small town and quickly became popular with the young people in Bruce’s group.

She currently works with Bruce at his fathers coffee shop. Her and Bruce hit it off immediately but Bruce decided not to pursue her since his friend was really into her.
but, he sometimes can’t help but flirt.. It’s harmless right..?

[Closing time]

Milly: “So yeah..It’s true. I’ve liked you since I’ve moved here, I kind of thought you did too..but you never said anything.”

Bruce: “I couldn’t say anything…Phillip really liked you. I mean he still does obviously.”

Milly: “Yeah…We’re terrible people aren’t we..?”

Bruce: ”Nah. I think were just two young kids trying to figure out our emotions.”

Milly: “Bruce, I’m trying to be serious here…I- I just don’t want to hurt anybody..”

Bruce: “I know…We won’t”

“Hey Bruce.”
“Seriously Milly, what do you see in that guy?”
“Whoa I don’t even get a hello, what’s with the second degree? It’s not anything serious anyways..”

“That’s an understatement.”

“Why, Mr. Nacht do I detect just a hint of jealousy?”

“Okay firstly Gross. That’s my father and secondly, No I just think you can do better Than Phillip wise-ass Johnson.

“Some one better…Oh you mean someone like you?”

[Just outside Dungeons and Donuts – 5 minutes before Closing shift]

“Thanks for walking me to work.”
“Anytime babe..When do you get out so I can pick you up Mills?”
“You don’t have to..I-I think I’ll catch a ride with Bruce. We have the same shift today..”
“Alright. Tell that goof I said Hi. I gotta run.”
“Alright See you later.”
