“It’s official. I like like you.”
“Should be out any minute now.”
“You know..I’ve lived here all my life and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sunrise on the beach before.”
“You’re in for a real treat then Edelweiss.”

”No..Just my dad. He’s pretty upset that we’re together sort of..”

[Chuckles] “So, we’re officially together?”

“What are we twelve…This is so silly..?”
Bastian shrugs “I don’t mind it..I know sometimes it’s hard to say what you want..and you don’t have to say them right now..”

[Bzz..Bzzz..Bzzz]-[Phone continues to Bzz]
Iona lazily checks her phone
“Bastian..”
Iona: It’s really not a big deal dad. he’s our neighbor and-.
Ronen: He’s a guy It is a big deal and you’re my daughter, your my deal and that makes it my deal.. We talked about this.
Iona: I know. But he’s just a friend and-
Ronen: No dating until you finish school!
Iona: “This is so unfair..”
Ronen: “Life is unfair, but trust me you don’t want to be dealing boys like him. Guys like him only want one thing from pretty girls like you.”
Iona: “It’s not like that-Okay dad. I know.”
[Ronen gets up off the table and grabs the empty plates and takes them to the ktichen to clean them up]
Tess and Iona: “Welcome home dad!”
Ronen:“Hey girls. You guys made dinner thank you.”
Tess: “Of course! I made the Mash!”
Ronen: “It looks good Tess.”
[They sit and eat dinner]
Iona: “How was work?”
Ronen: “Greasy..heh It was pretty busy today. I guess everyone wants to take off their winter tires since the weather is getting so nice. How was school girls?”
Tess: “I aced my English test.”
[Dad nods in approval while he sips his drink]
Iona: “It was good. I didn’t have any after school clubs today so I walked Tess home.”
Tess: “And Bastian!… walked with us…”
Iona: Tess!
Ronen: “Who’s Bastian?”
Tess: “Uh..I have to go to the bathroom.”
Iona: “He’s just the boy that lives down the street from us.”
