She has a bumpy relationship with her mother. until she finally decided to leave – They call each other once a week ( their relationship has been better since she’s moved out)

growing up she was poor. lived in a trailer park with her mom – when she started making music she made enough money to buy her own condo in the city and get her mom a clean apartment in her hometown.
